2010 in review

The stats helper monkeys at WordPress.com mulled over how this blog did in 2010, and here’s a high level summary of its overall blog health:

This blog was supposed to be active until 04 Dec 2010. But I failed to keep it so. Oh well, I shall leave it as it is, and I have started a new blog:

Lady Luck

Lady Luck smiled on me today, thanks! :) During GP lesson today, I was flipping through my comprehension paper, and abruptly realised I was shortchanged by 1 mark! I was absent on the day the paper was returned, so I thought I had a case… Thus I asked my tutor about it, and YAY, it wasn’t too late! I managed to clinch that 1 mark, and now I scrapped a B with 60%, rounded up from 59.5%! xD

Weal and Woe

Omg, my teacher told me today that I am the second in level for Math! YAYYYYY! :D Lolol, getting second for Math out of 1100+ people compromising quite a number of Math whizzes is seriously very tough and I would say it is a one-off event… Hence, it’s really something to be overjoyed about! :) So please don’t say I’m making a big deal out of it.

Woe

I was so unlucky today. I was walking with an ice-cream cone in my hand. Suddenly, my classmate tried to warn me about something but it was too late; a frisbee hit, not my arm, not my waist, not anywhere else, but my hand, and I dropped my half-eaten cone. How sad, zzz. :( But argh, why couldn’t the frisbee hit somewhere else?

Ah, SAT…

SAT is in one week’s time on 9 October. There’s no time to waste… :(

High fever

When I thought I had almost recovered last night after a good long nap, I realised my body started getting even hotter later into the night… So I took my temperature and it was a 39 deg C. -.- How scary. I was so scared that the temperature would damage my brains. :\ Luckily, when I woke up the next morning, it subsided to 37.5 deg C, phew.

But well, I still skipped school, and it could have been a good thing. That’s because there was GP today, and I did not score well for it. So it was good that I avoided the torture of possibly receiving a disapproving or disappointed look from my tutor. Anyway, my GP score is a lousy 58.5%, a C grade. 26/50 for essay and 32.5/50 for compre. Horrible.

Flying colours

Fell sick all of a sudden yesterday, thus I had a horrible night… I somehow have a feeling that I didn’t sleep much cos I felt I was awake most of the time during the night. This was so horrid, when I was so looking forward to today!
